[1] The draft laws blocking Australians from illegally downloading popular TV series have sailed through the lower house.

[2] The controversial laws gives powers to rights holders to seek a court order forcing internet service providers to block access to piracy websites hosted overseas.

[3] This means that foreign sites that allow illegal downloads of movies, music or TV shows will be shut off to Australians.
