[1] The proposed merger of science and research bodies NICTA and CSIRO could cost as much as 200 jobs.

[2] The proposed merger was announced in February this year to help the federal government cut cost from the double funding.

[3] This would see the NICTA digital productivity team merged into CSIRO.
