Canberra gets its first MOOC

[1] The Australian federal government is getting its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), through the local firm OpenLearning.

[2] OpenLearning will deliver the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) course to train thousands of public servants and members of the public over the next four years

[3] The RIA course aims to equip public servants with skills in cost benefit analysis, problem solving and public consultation that policy officers must undertake before proposing new regulations.
