[1] Optus and American communications firm Level 3 have signed a deal to enable the Australian telco to locally cache high-demand content across its network.
[2] This will see Optus’ wholesale and satellite divisions affected, giving the relco quicker access to content and grow its Level 3’s content delivery network (CDN) capacity in Australia.
[3] Level 3 delivers Apple and Netflix music and video content over the internet, among other services.
