MedicalDirector puts patients in touch with host of apps

[1] Medical software company MedicalDirector is continuing to push out several new apps this year with the launch of a self-check-in kiosk developed with patient flow technology provider Jayex.

[2] The company is also building an app to enable patients to do online appointment bookings, track prescriptions and potentially integrate other health tracking apps data into their clinical records.

[3] MedicalDirector is used by 64,000 Australian health professionals, and an upcoming addition, the teleconsult app, will be allows patients to book a phone appointment with their own GP or specialist.
