[1] Woodside Petroleum is looking to find and maintain a competitive edge in its market with the procurement to use IBM’s Watson supercomputer system to analyse three decades of internal data.
2] The oil and gas company will use the cognitive computing system to enable users to have surface evidence-weighted insights from large volumes of unstructured and historical data contained in project reports.
[3] Woodside Senior vice president strategy, science and technology Shaun Gregory said that their plan is to turn all data into a predictive tool for informed and accurate insights.
