Questacon hooks school kids into 3D printing

[1] Students from three Australian secondary schools had a chance to take a first-hand look at emerging 3D technologies revolutionising the manufacturing industry.

[2] The students from Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria schools took part in a project spearheaded by the National Science and Technology Centre, Questacon.

[3] The groups were provided with bodies with snap-in sockets and a blueprint ball-joint design to build upon and create figurines in 3D.
