Aussie customers double-billed due to PayPal glitch

[1] Australian online shoppers were today charged twice for a single transaction due to a glitch in the online payments platform PayPal.

[2] All local banks and financial institutions that partner with PayPal have also been affected, and are waiting on a rectification in PayPal’s next direct entry file.

[3] PayPal’s Australian Facebook is advising customers that it could take up to 72 hours before the payments are refunded.
