[1] Telstra has revealed a security breach in its subsidiary, Pacnet, which enables cybercriminals to upload malicious software on it corporate IT network.
[2] The breach occurred before Telstra acquired Pacnet for $697 million acquisition, but was made aware of the breach on finalisation of the purchase on April 16, 2015.
[3] Telstra has advised Pacnet customers, staff and regulators about the security breach and carried out immediate action to protect the security of the network.
