Bill Shorten’s STEM policy wins startup support: “The best thing we’ve heard from either party in 20 years”

[1] Labor leader Bill Shorten has confirmed that his party’s STEM (science, technology, education and maths) education policy will be the main focus of budget reply speech.

[2] It is an objective of the Labor’s Futuresmart policy to ensure that coding will be taught in all Australian primary and secondary schools by 2020.

[3] To do this, ample training in STEM disciplines will be provided to 25,000 existing teachers.
