Uber launches more accessible service for seniors and Australians living with a disability

[1] Launched last May 5,  Uber’s newest option called UberASSIST enables users to choose an UberX car that offers special services for both senior citizens and Australians with disabilities.

[2] An UberX car can make room for folding wheelchairs, walkers and collapsible scooters.

[3] To ensure that passengers are well taken care of, drivers will need to undergo a specific training on the safety requirements of people with disabilities.
