Rackspace adds second Australian data centre

[1] Rackspace, a Cloud hosting firm, has added a second Sydney data centre for disaster recovery and geo-redundancy capabilities.

[2] The new data centre will be co-located at Digital Realty’s data centre in Alexandria, Sydney, and openned month.

[3] Angus Dorney, Rackspace ANZ general manager and director, said the new data centre is designed offer local customers optimal performance for their hosted data backup and failover requirement.
