Entrepreneurs welcome $60 million startup fund, but hungry for more detail

[1] The startup community highly praised the Victorian government’s first budget but they would prefer to have more details about the proposed innovation funds Labor says will drive economic growth.

[2] The 2015 Victorian budget included the $60 million “startup initiative” meant to match local entrepreneurs with business investors as a way of helping them make their ideas a reality.

[3] Scott Handsaker, co-founder of Startup Victoria, believes the government should focus on helping out entrepreneurs in starting out a business so they can, in turn, help the economy.
