Canberra to give start-ups a helping hand

[1] The Abbott government has committed to helping start-up businesses starting July 2016 ahead of next week’s budget.

[2] Among the measures to assist startups will be the change where new businesses will be able to deduct professional costs immediately rather than writing them off over five years.

[3] Business registration will also be streamlined to a single online registration site, shunning the current fragmented and complex process, and in turn, save time and money.
