Optus flags fast lanes for Netflix traffic

[1] Netflix, a streaming video services, will soon be able to buy preferential internet access to ensure uninterrupted services to consumers’ homes under new deals being negotiated with Optus.

[2] Optus is coming up with a suite of premium internet services that will allow content providers like Netflix to pay a premium that would guarantee more bandwidth.

[3] Optus chief executive Allen Lew revealed that the new deals is one of the many being considered as it looks to capitalise on the growing online video services.
