Gartner: Tech spend in Australia to grow to $78.7bn

[1] According to Gartner, Australia is bucking global trends with forecasts indicating growth to $78.7 billion in 2015 (from $75.6 billion), an increase of 4.2 per cent on last year.

[2] It has also noted that the IT spending forecast for Australia is on the rise in various segments, such as telecommunications services, devices and datacentre systems software.

[3] Australian consumers are expected to spend the most on telecommunications services with IT spend on datacentre systems predicted to grow from $2.3 billion in 2014 to $2.5 billion in 2015.
