Telstra vows to encrypt metadata and store it in Australia

[1] Telstra has revealed that it will store all the required metadata on shore in Australia, just a day after the Government saw its new data retention laws become reality.

[2] It further said that it will deter hackers from accessing the data by encrypting the data.

[3] The new security strategies Telstra implements will build on existing measures, including active network monitoring and intrusion detection systems.
