[1] Tasmanian government agencies have refused to shore up their systems in line with standards developed by the Australian Signals Directorate as advised by the state’s Auditor-General.
[2 The state’s Auditor-General Mike Blake released a report last week that showed the adequacy of information security inside the state’s Treasury, Police, Primary Industries and Health bodies.
[3] Two of the agencies have dismissed the report arguing that Tasmanian agencies don’t require the same level of cyber protection as their larger Canberra counterparts.
