[1] US multinational data centre provider Equinix has launched the opening of its fourth Australian data centre at a new US$60 million facility in the Port Melbourne area.
[2] The Equinix ME1 facility opens up with 375 cabinets, with future extensions to accommodate an additional 1,125 cabinets and over 105,000 square feet of total floor space.
[3] Equinix will extend its dark fiber network into ME1, as it offers Micron21 with cost effective interconnections with just about any network provider, company or cloud service.
