[1] QUT has revealed that it is at the forefront of airport R&D to make airport experiences safer and faster through its purpose built Airport Innovation Research (AIR) lab.

[2] The Innovation Research lab incorporates an airport runway, check-in counters, a security gate and control systems.

[3] The lab was developed through a joint funding from QUT, Australian Research Council, the University of Melbourne and the University of Technology Sydney.
