[1] During a speech at the ASIC Open Forum 2015 in Sydney, ASIC chairman Greg Medcraft confirmed the launching of an innovation hub in the upcoming financial year.
[2] He also urged Australian industries to take on the United States’ NIST Cybersecurity Framework in order to come up with an international standard for online security.
[3] Mr. Medcraft considers online attacks as threats to the commission, and so, industries should consider digital resilience a top priority.
