NCRIS funding cuts: A science risk that’s not worth taking

[1] Professor Brian Schmidt has forewarned that 27 national research facilities are on the verge of a downfall.

[2] These cutting-edge, high-tech 27 NCRIS facilities are all part of the federal government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Scheme (NCRIS).

[3] Schmidt’s work is greatly supported by Austronomy Australia but sadly it’s one of the facilities about to go under.
