Government pushes open data agenda with new study

[1] The Australian federal Government has acquired the services of New York University’s GovLab to carry out an investigation on how government data sets are being used by Aussie organizations.

[2] The Open Data 500 study was launched in a move to drive forwards the government’s open data agenda.

[3] This is the first comprehensive study to look at how Australian companies and non-profit organizations use open government data to generate new business, improve service delivery and develop new products.
