[1] Melbourne-based RMIT University has managed to combine connectivity to industrial automation labs with state-of-the-art high resolution visualisation and cloud computing potential.
[2] The university becomes the first academic facility in Australia to do so through its virtual ‘x’ laboratory (VxLab).
[3] The eResearch facility, developed by the Australia-India Research Centre for Automation Software Engineering, also incorporates a virtual reality experience with use of Oculus Rift headset, among other devices.
