[1] Speaking at the National ICT Australia Techfest conference, communications minister Malcolm Turnbull said that Australia needs an innovation “insurgency” with school children as little as five year learning computer coding.
[2] He stressed that Australian students need to study more STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects.
[3] Every student needs to be familiar with machine languages in what the minister described as “reading, writing, arithmetic, and coding”.
