iiNet snapping at Optus’ heels

[1] Perth-based iiNet is closing its gap on its closest rival Optus in the broadband market targeting the nation’s No. 2 spot.

[2] This follows iiNet’s posting of a record first-half revenue and profit results, with the addition of 25,000 broadband customers to its base.

[3] iiNet now boosts about 975,000 broadband customers, just short of 13,000 customers to overtake Optus as the nation’s second broadband service provider.
