[1] Internet security company Trend Micro has yet again revealed shocking statistics of the rise in malware infections and malicious websites in that puts more Australians at risk.
[2] The threat report shows that there were more than 7 million hits to malicious websites hosted in Australia in the year 2014, up from 4.8 million hits the previous year.
[3] It noted that web-based attacks were the most common threats in Australia, with the rate of malicious hits tripling from Q1 in 2013 to Q1 in 2014.
