Vodafone completes trials of voice calls using 4G

[1] The first trial of Vodafone’s first voice calls using 4G has been successful.

[2] The 4G voice calls, also called Voice over LTE or VoLTE, has been subjected to laboratory and field testing before its rollout later this year.

[3] VoLTE has the advantage of fully integrating voice and data and allowing mobile phone users to talk on their device and access 4G data at the same time.
