DesignCrowd raises $6 million in Series B round, plans to take a chunk of global design market

[1] Design crowdsourcing platform DesignCrowd’s newly earned $6 million out of a Series B funding will be utilized for targeting the global design market.

[2] The funding round has been initiated by Daniel Petre and Craig Blair’s AirTree Ventures and from Starfish Ventures who has previously invested $6 million in the company.

[3] DesignCrowd’s revenues are nearing $15 million yearly, but co-founder and CEO Alec Lynch is really looking forward to getting hold of the global design market at estimated $44 million.
