Computer vision team cooking up robots that really learn

[1] A research ­project done by local digital research body ­National ICT Australia and the University of Maryland is aiming at developing teaching robots to perform tasks by watching videos.

[2] The researchers aim to give robots an ability to learn any movement sequence and repeat, so that I could do task s such as cooking.

[3] The project, led by NICTA senior researcher Dr Yi Li, has seen a robot learn movements and identified objects by analyzing pixels in the video downloaded to it.
