Gartner: Australian public cloud market to hit $4.2 billion in 2015

[1] According to Gartner’s forecast, the Australian public cloud services market is expected to grow 24 per cent this year, hitting $4.15 billion.

[2] The cloud market is also expected to be worth $4.74 billion in 2016, and will surpass growth in other ‘mature’ countries, such as Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and South Korea.

[3] The analyst firm noted the reason for the fastest growing segment of the market to be cloud management and security services.
