[1] Australian Council on Children and the Media is urging the government to help drive a bill that specifies the age that a child can have a smartphone and similar gadgets.
[2] This comes after the government started plans to make safety options for smartphones and other devices available for parents.
[3] The children’s lobby noted that more children are using the internet before they start school, especially unsupervised access to the internet which sometimes exposes them to some unwanted materials.
