[1] The popular restaurant review and recommendations service Urbanspoon has been acquired by Indian online restaurant delivery service Zomato.

[2] The acquisition boosts the entry of Zomato into Australia, taking advantage of the big market that Urbanspoon enjoyed in Australia.

[3] In the deal, all Urbanspoon users and content will be migrated to the Zomato platform, and the Urbanspoon brand will be phased out.
