India, Australia CECA by year-end, investment remains a hurdle

[1] The governments of India and Australia have decided to wrap up the ongoing consultations to develop a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) December of this year.

[2] Andrew Robb, Australia’s minister of trade and industry reiterated of Australia’s eagerness to spend on India’s pharmaceutical and information technology sectors.

[3] The Australian government, headed by Robb, has been urging India’s Modi government to endorse the CECA.
