[1] Christoph Rohland, the mobile payments expert and chief technology officer of Australian company Vix, thinks mobile payments like ApplePay will put an end to physical credit cards.
[2] With the increased production and market of smartphones, people will be dependent on their devices in handling payments and other matters, and so, payment cards will no longer be needed.
[3] According to Mr. Rohland, the introduction of ApplePay in Australia this year would start off the dissolution of plastic credit cards in many quotas.
