[1] Brisbane researchers have come up with a new way of beating hackers through a smart way of transmitting unhackable messages using the weird quantum properties of atomic-scale particles.
[2] The technology dubbed “quantum steering” is based on an 80-year-old phenomenon discovered by a team including Albert Einstein that would allow unhackable credit card transactions within five years.
[3] Griffith University physicist Geoff Pryde said that prototype systems using quantum physics are available, but only protect the transmission channel and not the devices sending and receiving the messages.
