TPG suspends fibre-to-the-basement product

[1] Australian telecommunications and IT company TPG Telecom has put on hold its fibre-to-the-basement (FTTB) service in the wave of the new government regulatory framework.

[2] The new rules prevented them from selling FTTB products after 1 January 2015 before meeting the requirements.

[3] The regulations required owners of high-speed networks to functionally separate their wholesale operations.
