Telstra, HP urge better cyber security awareness

[1] Two companies, HP and Telstra, have released reports urging Australian businesses to take cybersecurity issues more seriously, taking into account 2014 has been a mammoth year for cyber security.

[2] According to Telstra’s Cyber Security report 2014, about 41 per cent of organizations surveyed had in the past three years experienced a major cyber security incident.

[3] The report also stated that only 43 per cent of organizations were well prepared to cyber attacks, putting questions to the preparedness of Australian firms to cybersecurity.
