[1] According to software company Mimecast, Australians need to back up their cloud, taking into account the major global outages experienced in 2014 such as Microsoft Azure’s outage.
[2] The company warned that while many Australian IT organizations have moved to the cloud, many are not prepared of what happens to critical IT systems when the service provider has an outage.
[3] Australian IT leaders are urged to hold the cloud to the same standards of security as they would their on-premises infrastructure.
