[1] Australian telco Telstra will be switching on the new 4GX from 2nd January 2015 in 600 new locations in its plans to roll out a new breed of network speed.
[2] Telstra’s rollout will be Australia’s largest rollout of superfast LTE-A (LTE Advanced), dubbed ‘4GX’, using both 700MHz and 1800Mhz 4G spectrums for fast broadband mobile connections.
[3] As part of its wider national rollout program, the 600 towns to be switched on from 2nd January 2015 will bring the total number of ‘towns and suburbs’ connected to over 1000.
