Hi-tech satellites to improve forecasts

[1] There are a great number of images sourced from international meteorology satellites that could bring a much sharper focus on Australia’s weather forecasting systems.

[2] Himawari-8 is an innovative geo-stationary weather satellite launched by Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) that provides highly detailed images back to Earth.

[3] On the other hand, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) is also developing a new satellite known as Fengyun-4.
