[2] It will give partner pubs and clubs with gaming facilities the flexibility of installing geolocation sensors within their premises to track the consumption of smartphone-packing punters on the premises.
[3] Tabcorp did piloting with Bluetooth Low Energy beacons to alert the presence of smartphone users. The technology allows pub punters to pay for beers and bets using their phone.
