Let’s reconnect: Virgin Australia exec wants to offer Wi-Fi in the sky

[1] Judith Crompton, Virgin’s chief commercial officer said that Australia is already behind with other country when it comes to WIFI connectivity in the in-flight service.

[2] So NBN Co, Optus and Telstra will conduct in-flight trials of onboard internet services next year.

[3] But providing an onboard internet services aircraft is difficult because Wi-Fi services is too expensive and even the said trials could cost millions of dollars.
