Report calls for Australian financial innovation committee

[1] The Financial System Inquiry’s final report has recommended that the Australian government needs to develop a public-private sector committee known as the “Innovation Collaboration” (IC) as a technological advancement initiative.

[2] The report also advised that the committee should be composed of senior industry, government, regulatory, academic, and consumer representatives.

[3] Ronald Tucker, chairman of the Australian Digital Currency Commerce Association (ADCCA), concurs with the report and strongly believes that it would help Australia become a competent leader in technology.
