Christopher Pyne urged to act on coding in classrooms

[1] Various organizations such as the Australian Computer Society, StartupAus, and Australian Information Industry Association are appealing to the government to abandon the Australian curriculum review.

[2] These industry leaders are urging federal, state and territory education ministers to decline the Year 9 review recommendation, so that the matter could be tackled in the Education Council meeting on Friday.

[3] StartupAus director Alan Noble strongly believes that technology subjects should be inculcated at the earliest age and considered as a basic skill, just like reading and writing.
