‘Isolated, insular, inflexible’: ABS told it is too strict in public service review

[1] Based on Public Service Commission’s capability review, the Australian Bureau of Statistics was regarded to be too strict and so it lacks the ability to cooperate with other government departments.

[2] The bureau needs to change this perspective if they want to get back on track after the issues they’ve going through.

[3] The review also constructively criticized the bureau’s processes and information technology sector as obsolete and needs to be highly improved.
