Sydney trialing new pedestrian navigation system in city centre

[1] AU$8 million project is being trialed in the City of Sydney in Australia to make it easier for disabled visitors and pedestrians find their way around the city centre. .

[2] The project is an initiative of the City of Sydney and New South Wales state government to promote tourism by making everybody to feel comfortable visiting Australia.

[3] This project follows a previous one where the government recently piloted a new way finding system that contains flags and braille signs, and pylons with maps on two busy city routes.
