How Australia’s newest technology can be used to save its oldest languages

[1] Armed with a recently received grant, Dr Payi Linda Ford, from Charles Darwin University, is developing an app (together with other colleagues) that preserves Australia’s primeval and imperiled language.

[2] Dr. Ford foresees that the app utilizes both community-based program and smartphone technology in helping to preserve languages like the Marrithiyel and Mak Mak Marranunggu.
