Australian internet connections slowed down by submarine cable fault

[1] A submarine fiber-optic cable fault between Perth and Singapore is said to be the reason of Australian lagging connections.

[2] Australia’s second largest DSL internet service provider iiNet announced that their link currently not passing traffic due to this fault issue.

[3] There’s still no definite answer as to what caused the fault and no timeframe was given as to when it could be fixed.
