NICTA advises government to do more on identity assurance

[1] National Information and Communications Technology Australia (NICTA) has advised Australian government agencies to adopt modern identity authentication techniques.

[2] The NICTA whitepaper has urged the agencies to verify that people on websites are citizens, and use the tools to provide flexibility in accessing government digital services.

[3] NICTA also encouraged the government to move its data to cloud to cut costs and ensure data security.
